International Longshoremen's Association Local 1657 is located in Montreal Quebec Canada. Local 1657 has 125 members which supplies all checking related labour for all stevedoring operations in the Port of Montreal. Layoff Information
To all members of local 1657
The MEA has notified the Local that the Lock Out has
been lifted and that the Port of Montreal will
operate as usual. Effective Saturday JULY 23rd
all members must call their tape for assignment for
the 24th of JULY or report to Terminals on Sunday
the 24th in which you are a permanent.
